Hugs and Kisses Bracelet in Green and Chartreuse

Hugs and Kisses Bracelet in Green and Chartreuse

This is a bracelet I made using a Hugs and Kisses right angle weave pattern using Czech glass beads, glass pearls and seed beads. The color of the Czech glass beads were hard to capture, they are a pretty bluish green. The seed beads are Czech Charlottes in a deep blue-green with a cut which gives them lots of sparkle. I love the clasp I used, it is a sterling silver ball covered with small crystals with a magnet in the center. Magnets are such a great clasp for a bracelet, so easy to get on and off. I like the way this bracelet turned out. It has a lot of sparkle. You can never have too much bling.

I actually finished this bracelet several weeks ago, but I am just getting around to blogging about it. It was a busy week for me. I spent most of it out of town traveling for work (my day job which keeps be flush with beads). Each night I had business dinners to attend, so not much time to myself. Weeks like this are very difficult for me as I am an introvert and spending too much time being around people (while I like visiting and talking with people) leaves me drained. I really need down-time to recharge and refresh my mind. I guess that is one of the reasons that I love beading so much. It is my “me-time”. I often listen to music or listen to the TV or catch-up on my podcasts while I bead. I always feel refreshed after a beading session.

My web stats say that I have a few people reading my blog. I would love to hear from you! Please offer up your comments, thoughts, or general ramblings. I would especially love to hear from fellow beaders.

Happy beading.
